Terminology about '240 investment shocks' or 'The investment shock is realized in 240 quarters'?

Dear Johannes,
Thank you very much for your helpful guidance, I am grateful.
I have a fundamental question about the terminology of shocks, for instance, assuming the investment shock follows an AR(1) process, for the investment shock in the DSGE model in period t, do we say ‘an investment shock in period t’, or ‘a realization of the investment shock in period t’?
In a DSGE model spanning from 1960Q1 to 2019Q4, do we say ‘An investment shock perturbs in each quarter, so there are 240 investment shocks in the DSGE model spanning from 1960Q1 to 2019Q4 (240 quarters)’, or do we say ‘the DSGE model is perturbed by the investment shock, and the investment shock realizes in each quarter, so there are 240 realizations of the investment shock in the DSGE model spanning from 1960Q1 to 2019Q4’?
Thank you very much and look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Jesse

It would be “realizations”.
