Hi all

I’m asking what are the system requirements for a computer if I want to estimate a big model using Dynare in reasonable time.

What is “big” and what is “reasonable time”? Usually, estimation at order=1 works reasonably fast on any modern machine unless the model has really many states and steady state computation is done numerically.
