Steady state equations

Dear Dynare users,

I have to replicate a paper and have a question. Am I allowed to declare targets as parameters and use these parameters in the steady-state equations ?

The general answer is yes, but the correct treatment may be tricky. What exactly are you trying to do?

Dear Pr. Johannes,

I have a model from a paper, for which I have 11 nonlinear steady-state equations and 8 linear steady-state equations. So, I gave the value of 3 variables (s,h,tau) in the initval block to make the 11 equations linear.
