No color formatting when using Dynare

Dear colleagues,

I have the issue with Dynare: no color formatting of the .mod file.
I am using MATLAB R2023b (Intel) with the Apple Silicon. I have tried both Dynare 5.4 and Dynare 5.5 (both Mac-Intel versions). I have also added to MATLAB editor/debugger language preferences the mod extension.
The trick is that the .mod file itself works perfectly fine with both versions…

Please let me know if there are any suggestions.

Syntax highlighting

Are you by any chance on a Mac and using R2023b? There is an issue (confirmed with MATHWORKS, they fixed it for the next R2024a) with the old desktop about syntax highlighting in the editor not working anymore. You could try the new desktop (but there are other issues with dynare), or keep using r2023a if you need syntax highlighting.
