Negative Posterior Mean

I perform Bayesian estimation. However, I notice that my posterior mean has a negative value. Is this something I shall be alarmed about?

That really depends on what parameter you estimate. Does it make sense that it is negative? The posterior does not know what makes sense or not. It just combines your prior information of the parameter with what the data - in combination with the model structure - tells you.
