Is it possible to mix initval and SS?

There are some variables with analytical solution, but there are other variables where I have to use initval because I can’t analytically solve it.

Is there a way to solve for the values inside CES function without a solver?

There is no general answer to this. There are setups where one can solve for the steady state analytically. For others, it is impossible. Often the CES functions are linearly homogenous, allowing to solve for the ratio of inputs, similar to a Cobb-Douglas.
