Greetings to all professors and researchers
Please let me know if these results are correct or something is wrong
Nothing here looks right, but without the files it is impossible to tell.
The data is missing.
Your data treatment is wrong. All model variables are mean zero, but it’s not true for the data.
I had annual data brut from 1970 to 2019 that I converted into quarterly data, then I processed it through a Hodrick–Prescott filter and in the end I entered it into the logarithm.
Where is the error please, thank you very much
You need to log before filtering. Also, never use a two-sided HP filter for estimation. See Pfeifer(2013): “A Guide to Specifying Observation Equations for the Estimation of DSGE Models” . If you must, use the one-sided HP filter.
This looks a lot better.
There is still a problem here. Why are the likelihood curves non-smooth?
I don’t know where the problem is, I tried all possible solutions
Then please provide the updated files.
