Please don’t upgrade your Matlab version to 2022b. I upgraded my Matlab version, and the computer kept shutting down with pretty high CPU temperatures when I running dynre. Everything is back to normal now after I downgrading the Matlab version.
Do you have more information for tracing the source of the issue? I am running Matlab2022b and do not experience issues.
I think it’s my computer’s problem. Maybe I used multiple cores to run dynare, and the temperature was higher than normal. But I still don’t know why the problem comes about after upgrading both Matlab and Dynare.
