I understand that Dynare solves a system around a given steady state conditional on a set of parameters. Some papers use perturbation methods to solve for the dynamics following a shock to one of those parameters. Does Dynare have any of these methods implemented? No, Dynare does not yet support these algorithms by default. They are on our way too long to-do list.
