I run comand ‘osr’ to compute the optimal simple monetary policy rule. I have a question. Will the model has a unique solution for reaction coefficients?
Nothing guarantees a unique solution. But the bigger problem is, even if a unique solution exists, finding this solution. The reason is that most optimizers only perform well locally.
