Contributions of endogenous variables

Hi!

How can I compute the relative contributions of endogenous variables on another endogenous variable after an exogenous shock?

Thanks in advance!

I am not sure that question is well-posed. The cause-and-effect runs from exogenous to endogenous variables. Decomposing it into intermediate effects is usually not possible.
