Say I have a set of IRFs and I plot it. I want to write a caption. Is it okay if I write “simulated results” instead of “IRF results”. I always thought that IRFs are “special” simulation.
It would not be wrong, but also not very descriptive. The term “Simulation” is a lot broader.
