I’m struggling with running the example1 (or any another file) because it looks like the octave/dynare doesn’t finish it, so I can’t execute other command.
What could be happening?
This looks like a problem with Octave. There is not a lot you can do. Can you try a different combination of Octave and Dynare?
Do you say older versions of Octave and Dynare?
Yes, e.g. Dynare 5.4 with Octave 8.1.
