I am sorry for that basic question.I have matlab 7.1 and i installed dynare and add dynare as
addpath c:\dynare\4.2.0\matlab to my command window. i open in matlab a new script file and sethpath command i add the dynare too. i write my code however i have problems with saving the script file as .mod file. I use save as command but for the file type there is no .mod extension.
Does anyone can help me with this basic question?

Make sure you select All files in the ‘Files of Type’ menu and write down the name of the file AND .mod as extension in the File Name space.
