A simple question about steady state

Hi,
It is a simple and quite stupid question, if I have an original equation shows as follow: u(t)=Et(r(t+1)x(t+1)), where Et means the expected value at time t, can I draw the conclusion that the steady state of the equation can be wrote as: U = RX? The capital letters mean steady state.
Thanks in advance!
Julius

If the steady state exists, then you drop the expected values.

Thanks for the answer!
