Why the variances in oo_.var do not coincide with the irf figures?

#1

Thank you! I have 6 shocks in total, and the picture is plotted under the financial shock.
I have one more question, will dynare report the variance under one specific shock seperately?
If not, how can I extract the variance under one specific shock?

Thank you again!

#2

Do you have more than one shock in your model? the variances computed in oo_.var would be based on all shocks (tech, costpush, demand…) activated in your model.

Set all the other shock std deviations to zero and do a stoch_simul.
