Programming 3rd order solution yourself

Dear all,

I want to calculate a third order solution myself, so I am looking for some code similar to that provided by Uribe for second order (SGU code).

Does anybody know something like that?

I cannot use Dynare, because the model violates Blanchard-Kahn conditions as it features a limit cycle (see here for solution method: Galizia on solving limit cycle models).


What exactly would you need? Would you simply need the partial derivatives of the model?

Well, I wanted to get a complete solution in terms of the policy functions, so I can also simulate the model, and plot the policy functions.

I found a Matlab package “Corram-M” that can do this, and is actually also very suitable to adjust to your own liking.
