When I add a 0.01 technology shock to my model, the consumption change only about 0.0007. This makes my welfare gains are very small. How can I make the response of consumption to a shock bigger?
That is impossible to tell without knowing the model. You need to understand which features lead to the small consumption response, e.g. like habits.
