Hi everyone,

I have been working in the development of this model, it is deterministic but dynare shows that:
SOLVE: maxit has been reached

SOLVE: maxit has been reached

SOLVE: maxit has been reached

SOLVE: maxit has been reached

Simulation of the perfect foresight model failed!
Switching to a homotopy method…

Homotopy not implemented for purely backward models!
Failed to solve the model!
Return with empty oo_.endo_simul.
error: rplot: oo_.endo_simul is empty.

I don´t know exactly how can I solve that.

This is my code.

Sorry, but I don’t understand your simulation setup. Your simulations should typically end at a steady state, but in your code, you have arbitrary values. What is the idea behind it?

This is because I don’t know how to determinate a steady state, and the arbitrary values that I used were based on the evidence of data. Do you have any recommendation about it? Thanks.

Could you please first make sure your model works with stoch_simul before moving to perfect foresight simulations. It would be good to know whether the Blanchard-Kahn conditions are satisfied.

Could you please post some examples of labor market models in dynare, better deterministic and simple, for starting again with the construction of my model? Thanks!

Sorry, but I don’t have such mod-files.
