Hi,

I am getting the following error message:

“Reference to a cleared variable exo\_det\_nbr.”

I am starting with dynare, so I have no clue of where to search for the mistake.

does anyone have a suggestion of what might be going on ?

Thanks

Maybe you didn’t specify a random shock, but you use simulation command in Dynare.

lets say the name of your dynare file is “economy.mod”

instead of saying
dynare economy.mod

write dynare economy.mod noclearall
