Do not use the labor-to-capital ratio

Hi. In my model, after obtaining first-order conditions in firms, I used the equations of demand for capital and labor, as well as the marginal cost, to obtain the steady state of endogenous variables. Is this correct? Or should I just use the labor-to-capital ratio?

A steady state is a steady state. If you found it, it does not matter how you got there.
